What You’ll Do:

As a Home Inspector with us, you’ll be on the front lines, ensuring our clients receive comprehensive and reliable assessments of their prospective homes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough inspections of residential properties, meticulously assessing their condition and identifying potential issues.
• Leveraging your construction knowledge to spot structural defects, and other concerns.
• Documenting your findings accurately and preparing detailed, easy-to-understand reports for clients.
• Communicating effectively with clients, clearly explaining inspection results, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Staying up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to consistently provide high-quality inspection services.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in the New Castle County area.

• Experience:
• Required: At least 1 year of proven home inspection or construction experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years of ASHI home inspection or construction experience in Delaware, Pennsylvania, or Maryland. Current ASHI membership is a plus, but all experienced inspectors are welcome!
• Education: High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Driving: A good driving record and a valid Driver’s License are essential.
• Physical Comfort: You must be comfortable with heights (walking roofs when safe), climbing ladders, and navigating small spaces like attics and crawl spaces.
• Availability: Ability to work every other Saturday is required, along with Monday-Friday. Create your own schedule! We never work on Sundays.
• Independence: The ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
• Communication: Outstanding client service and communication skills are paramount.
• Language (Preferred): Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Please Note: If you do not have prior home inspection experience, be aware that the training required is intense, demanding significant commitment in terms of education, physical activity, and time. We’re looking for highly self-motivated candidates ready for this challenge.
