This position will help cover staffing at Meridian Park and Mount Hood Medical Center for all MS, IMCU and ICU Units. Responsibilities As a valued member of the healthcare team, and under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are responsible for providing and documenting care that supports patients' activities of daily living. This includes: Assisting with personal hygiene and grooming Maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment Practicing basic infection control procedures Ensuring adequate nutrition and fluid intake Recognizing and responding appropriately to emergencies You will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining respect for patient dignity, autonomy, and individual routines. Licensure Oregon: Current CNA certificate required. Washington: Current CNA certificate or NAR license (Nursing Assistant Registered) required. An NAR-licensed CHT has 120 days to obtain the CNA certificate. *If performing phlebotomy tasks (capillary or venous blood draws), those who perform this job in the State of Washington must be a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist. BLS for Provider certificate from the American Heart Association required. Pay Range USD $21.88 - USD $31.27 /Hr.
