If you love creating engaging learning experiences, supporting children through developmental milestones, and collaborating with families, this is the role for you! Key Responsibilities Create and implement weekly lesson plans that promote creativity, learning, and age-appropriate skill development. Use diverse teaching methods including storytelling, hands-on activities, creative arts, games, and outdoor learning. Evaluate and document children’s developmental progress through observations and daily notes. Maintain consistent communication with families regarding their child’s day, growth, and achievements. Support a structured daily schedule that promotes routine and a positive classroom flow. Encourage positive interactions among children and help guide social-emotional development. Identify behavioral or developmental concerns and take appropriate steps to support each child’s needs. Assist with hygiene routines such as diapering, toileting, and handwashing following health and safety standards. Prepare and serve age-appropriate meals/snacks while following food safety guidelines. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment at all times. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a childcare lead teacher. Strong understanding of child development and current early education practices. Creative, patient, and able to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages. CPR/First Aid certification required. Early Childhood Staff Credential, degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent certification required for Lead Teacher designation.
