As a new company, we are expanding our operations with exciting projects, such as building state-of-the-art camera systems from the ground up. We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Mechanic to join our talented team and help us bring our ambitious vision to life. This role offers an exciting blend of tasks, from fabricating and assembling camera systems to restoring and customizing vehicles from our inventory. --- Key Responsibilities Fabrication & Welding · Perform custom welding and metal fabrication for projects such as camera systems and vehicle restorations. · Use advanced fabrication techniques to create durable, high-quality components. · Modify, reinforce, and repair vehicle frames and structural components. Mechanical Repairs & Maintenance · Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, including classic cars, modern models, and specialty equipment. · Conduct engine diagnostics, suspension work, brake system repairs, transmission servicing, and other mechanical tasks. · Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safety and peak performance. Electrical Work · Install, troubleshoot, and repair low-voltage electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electronic components. · Integrate modern electrical systems into classic car restorations. · Assemble and wire systems for camera systems. Vehicle Restoration · Restore classic cars to their original glory or customize them to meet client specifications. · Conduct bodywork, including rust removal, panel replacement, and paint preparation. · Source, install, and test original or aftermarket parts. Project Management · Collaborate with the team to plan and execute projects effectively and on schedule. · Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines. · Uphold company standards and ensure safety compliance. Additional Duties · Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery. · Mentor junior mechanics and apprentices as the team grows. · Assist with inventory management, including ordering parts and supplies. · Support other company operations, such as inspections, quality assurance, and customer interactions. --- Qualifications Required: · Certified Automotive Mechanic (ASE or equivalent certification). · Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication (MIG, TIG, arc welding, etc.). · Experience working with low-voltage electrical systems (12V/24V wiring, troubleshooting, and installation). · Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions. · Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints. · High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Preferred: · Previous experience in classic car restoration. · Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and software. · CDL or the ability to transport vehicles when required.
