Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Location: Highpoint Health with Ascension Saint Thomas – Winchester, TN Clinic: Family Wellness Clinic Address: 2118 Cowan Hwy, Winchester, TN 37398 Job Summary Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of the assigned clinic or office, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient daily operations. Education High school diploma or equivalent required Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent required Licensure / Certification CCMA, CMA, or RMA required Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days of hire Required Skills Strong critical thinking and sound judgment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment Professional communication and organizational skills Essential Functions Assists physicians or nurses with patient assessments and treatments Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection Monitors, documents, and communicates changes in patient condition Maintains exam rooms, equipment, and medical supplies, including ordering and stocking Performs administrative duties such as scheduling, reception, data entry, filing, and patient registration Non-Essential Functions Performs other duties as assigned Why Join Us Join a supportive, community-focused healthcare team dedicated to making communities healthier.
