Job Description: As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing clinical support in a busy family medicine office. The ideal candidate will have experience working in family medicine and be comfortable assisting with a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities: Assist with patient intake, including taking medical histories, measuring vital signs, and preparing patients for exams. Administer immunizations and injections as directed by the physician. Perform routine lab tests and handle patient samples. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR). Prepare and maintain medical exam rooms. Assist providers during patient exams and procedures. Provide patient education and answer basic medical questions. Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow. Manage and order medical supplies as needed. Handle administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a family medicine or primary care setting. Certification in Medical Assisting (CMA, RMA, or similar) preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, office procedures, and EHR systems. Cerner experience is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
