As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) joining our team, you will support physicians and clinical staff by performing both clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient operations and quality patient care within the clinic. How you'll contribute A Certified Medical Assistant who excels in this role: • Assists physicians or nurses in performing patient assessments and treatments • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection • Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition to the appropriate care team members • Documents patient care and clinical information accurately • Maintains equipment and medical supplies including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting • Maintains examination areas to ensure a safe and organized clinical environment • Performs administrative and clerical duties including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration What we require Reports to: Director of Physician Services Education High school diploma or equivalent required Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent required Licensure / Certification CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of hire Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and take appropriate action. Non-Essential Functions Performs other duties as assigned to support clinic operations and patient care.
