Description Isaiah House is looking for a dedicated and driven person to take on the role of Certified Medical Assistant at our center in Harrodsburg, KY. Isaiah House is a faith-based, nonprofit with a competitive edge, delivering one of the most effective substance use disorder treatment facilities in the state of KY. This role will work in the following shift: Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 3:30pm. There will be room for flexible start and end times as needed. JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: Complete all necessary competencies. Perform/document vital signs, withdrawal scores, CLIA- waived testing such as blood glucose measurement and document/communicate progress of clients to LIP or medical treatment area personnel. Ensure that Medical Rooms are clean File medical papers on current and discharged clients Fill hygiene requests weekly for all clients Fill vitamin boxes weekly for all clients Gather necessary info/papers/IDs/insurance cards prior to clients’ medical appointments; Assist with appointment tracker entries Maintain inventory weekly for first aid products Maintain inventory weekly for hygiene products Maintain weekly inventory of OTC products Any other tasks assigned by the medical office manager or LIP Knowledge of recovery, mental health and other co-occurring disorders and experience in working with addiction in a residential and / or intensive outpatient environment. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: A current, valid, and unrestricted license, diploma, or certification as a Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required. Comparable credentials from other healthcare professions—such as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), respiratory therapists, or similar roles—may also be considered if they meet equivalent standards of practice. •2 years of experience with license/certification is preferred •Knowledge of recovery, mental health and other co-occurring disorders and experience in working with addiction in a residential and/or outpatient setting is preferred. •Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills. Can be post hire. •Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. •Valid Kentucky driver’s license is preferred. •American Heart Association CPR certification required- Can be post hire Employees receive benefits that include:
