Job Summary: Marietta Plastic Surgery is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join their growing aesthetics team. The medical assistant provides back-office support for patients and other clinical team members. This position performs tasks such as taking vitals, height/weight measurements, and post-operative care. This individual will play a significant role in the communication and flow of the office. Skills and Abilities of Medical Assistant - Clinical: Must be willing to work in both Marietta and Woodstock (Towne Lake) locations Competency in basic medical assisting skills. Including, rooming patients, assisting provider with exams, answering phones, scheduling appointments and surgeries Strong working knowledge of medical terminology Strong computer skills including solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Experience with medical software preferred. Positive, customer-focused approach, with a commitment to providing excellent patient care Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization skills and attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure & multi-task High level of professionalism and confidentiality Excellent customer service skills Responsibilities of Medical Assistant - Clinical: Update and maintain all digital client records Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history prior to each appointment Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments Work in the front office taking care of tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients as they enter the facility Assist the nurse and office manager in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed Must maintain a professional appearance and grooming at all times Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Diploma from an accredited medical assistant program and Medical Assistant Certification required (CMA, RMA ).
