Responsibilities
The Medical Assistant supports patient care by preparing patients for examination, collecting vital signs and pertinent physical data, and updating medical histories for the provider. Responsibilities also include assisting with examinations, performing various tests like EKGs and venipunctures, administering immunizations, and managing laboratory sample processing and record keeping.
