Description
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role and is a hybrid position. For the first 2 weeks you must be on-site everyday and then a minimum 2 days/week thereafter. Pay is determined by the work that you put into the position and the tasks that you complete, not by the # of hours you work however the hourly rate should, and does surpass that of a typical Medical Assistant position. Our client specializes in virtual care solutions for patients with chronic conditions like coronary, respiratory, diabetes, and kidney disease. Our comprehensive virtual care solution includes AI technologies for Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM). We provide cellular-enabled devices, software, mobile apps, and monitoring staff to support patients and improve outcomes while reducing healthcare costs and hospitalizations. This is a full-time role for a Certified Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant. The role involves onboarding / recruiting new patients into our VCM (Virtual Care Management) program, and monitoring patient while providing patient care and managing medical records. Responsibilities: Recruit new patients onto the Remote Patient Monitoring platform Remote Physiologic Monitoring Communication of patient health changes with physicians and other clinical staff Monitor customer communications and interactions Train patients on physiologic device utilization. E.g. Blood pressure cuffs, pulse oximeter, etc Contribute content and revisions to clinical documentation as needed and when requested Participate in client calls and presentations Qualifications Up to date Certification as a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant Ability to work on-site a minimum 2 days/week Medical Assisting and Patient Care Skills Knowledge of Medical Terminology Experience in Medical Office procedures Experience in taking vital signs and weight measures Proficiency in managing Medical Records Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team Experience with virtual care technologies is a plus BYOD - You must have your own laptop to work off of #ZR
