Description The Certified Medical Assistant –Specialty will provide coverage and support across multiple HealthyU Clinics locations, ensuring seamless patient care and clinic operations. Key Responsibilities Assist providers with specialty procedures and treatments at various clinics Prepare exam rooms and ensure compliance with specialty care protocols Maintain accurate patient records and update EHR systems Support front-office functions, including patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and referrals as necessary Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and minor procedures Prepare and sanitize examination rooms, ensuring compliance with safety protocols Collect and document patient history and vital signs accurately Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors Provide patient education and post-visit instructions Maintain and restock office and medical supplies as necessary Travel to different clinic locations as needed to assist providers and support staff Additional duties as assigned Requirements Medical Assistant Certification required Minimum of 3 year experience as a medical assistant Podiatry or Pain medical assistant experience highly preferred Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, EHR systems) Athena Experience highly preferred Adaptability and ability to work in different team environments Excellent communication and multitasking abilities Prolonged sitting, standing, bending, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various clinic locations
