JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment, particularly within a Level II Trauma Center. This position requires proficiency in medical terminology, medication administration, and the ability to work effectively with geriatric patients. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for both clinical and administrative tasks that support the smooth operation of our facility.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to various specialties, including geriatrics.
  • Experience in a hospital setting, particularly within a Level II Trauma Center, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in medication administration techniques and vital sign assessment.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and coding practices is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
