Description We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in a remote patient monitoring role, providing exceptional care to patients with diabetes. As a Remote Patient Monitoring Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting healthcare professionals in delivering comprehensive and personalized diabetes care to patients. Requirements Job Requirements Assist healthcare professionals remotely in providing direct patient care to individuals diagnosed with diabetes. Virtually perform routine clinical tasks, including collecting patient history, and documenting patient information accurately in electronic health records. Provide educational materials to patients about diabetes management. Provide support and encouragement to patients, helping them navigate the challenges of living with type 2 diabetes. Schedule appointments, organize medical records, and ensure efficient communication and flow between patient and healthcare provider. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in diabetes management and treatment to provide informed assistance to patients and the healthcare team. Adhere to all privacy regulations and always maintain confidentiality of patient information. Comfortable spending much of the day assisting patients via phone. Other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Certification as a Medical Assistant by a recognized Medical Assistant training program required. Previous experience working with patients with diabetes and Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM’s) preferred. Experience working in a patient monitoring setting preferred. Experience in using electronic health records and basic medical software. Comfortable spending majority of day assisting patients via phone. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members. Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help patients manage their diabetes effectively. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in an office full time. High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities
