Measure and monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate). Prepare patients for exams and assist healthcare providers during procedures. Clinical Duties: Administer injections, vaccines, and medications as directed by physicians. Collect and prepare lab specimens (e.g., blood, urine) for testing. Perform basic diagnostic tests (e.g., EKGs, vision tests). Sterilize and maintain medical instruments. Patient Education: Provide patients with instructions for medications, procedures, and follow-up care. Educate patients on health management and preventive care. Qualifications Current Certification as a Medical Assistant (AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCT) High school diploma. BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification. Knowledge of clinical skill techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses, and treatments.
Responsibilities
