Description Position Summary: The Certified Medical Assistant performs appointment scheduling and registration for patients and updates demographic information. Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians. Prepares the examination room for the patient to take patient vital signs and records vitals in the medical chart. This position also maintains patients’ medical charts and receives co-payments for the visit.
