West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a Medical Assistant to be out in the field! Must be willing to drive within the Denver, CO area The Field MA is responsible for administering ultrasound therapy to patients in their respective homes 5 days a week, as well as materials management, scribing, performing chart checks, and coordinating skin sweeps one day per week. Responsible for obtaining data/metrics to facilitate our financial analysis of hiring for expansion and growth. Essential Job Functions · Perform ultrasound therapy on wound patients. · Order medical supplies. · Scribe for respective doctors. · Prepare patients for procedures. · Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients. · Coordinate skin sweep scheduling. · Scribe for skin sweeps. · Make Initial Assessment calls. Qualifications · Valid MA Certification · 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred · Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills · Strong awareness of medical terminology · Strong desire for patient care Schedule : M- F 8am-5pm Pay Structure (1099): Guaranteed base pay of $810 per week Base is calculated at $27/patient visit for a minimum of 6 patients per day $27 per additional patient visit for any visits beyond the daily base
