Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant Floats to join our Allergy team. The ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This position requires a combination of administrative and clinical duties, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in our medical facility. This candidate will support the following office locations: Bethel Rd, Dublin, Delaware, East Broad, Westerville, Hamilton Rd and Grove City. Work Location: Float | Bethel Rd, Dublin, Delaware, East Broad, Westerville, Hamilton Rd and Grove City. Essential Functions: Maintain general appearance, cleanliness and stock in examination rooms, procedure rooms, and instrument processing room. Clean and sterilize instruments, maintain diagnostic equipment. Instruct Patients regarding appropriate preparation for certain diagnostic tests and procedures. Performs medical assisting procedures under supervision of, or as delegated by a physician. Takes baseline vital signs and patient history. Evaluates new patient charts prepared by front desk. Answer incoming phone calls. Assist in patient call backs and calls in prescriptions under the direction of the RN/MD. Professionally greets all patients and escorts them to clinical areas. Manages EHR desktop and alerts/flags. Provides discharge instruction/education to patients. Reviews handouts with patients. Assists other members of the clinical team with all patient care activities. PM20 Requirements Skills/Experience: Qualified Applicant should have at least 1 year experience in a medical office environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Knowledge of GE-Centricity practice management software and EHR beneficial but not required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment. Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system. Must know sterile technique Adheres to all HIPAA privacy and security regulations and guidelines. Education/Certifications: Medical Assistant Certification or LPN Certification High School Diploma or GED required Current CPR Certification required
