Pinon Unified School District is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team. As a school district, we have been providing education to our community for almost 30 years. We are dedicated to providing the best education possible and understand that student health and wellness is a critical component of academic success. The Certified Nurse Assistant will be an important member of our team, working to provide necessary support to our students with health needs. This position requires someone who is compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care to our students. Responsibilities Providing direct care and assistance to students with physical, emotional, and/or developmental needs Administering medication and treatments to students in accordance with healthcare plans and protocols Maintaining accurate and up-to-date health records for all students at the school Communicating with parents, teachers, and other school personnel regarding student health needs, treatment plans, and progress Providing health education and support to students and families as needed Monitoring and managing inventory of medical supplies and equipment Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as school nurses and physicians, to ensure coordinated care for students High school diploma or GED equivalent Valid certification as a Nurse Assistant in the state of Arizona Current CPR and First Aid certifications Experience working with children and adolescents preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Ability to work collaboratively with others to promote student health and wellness.
