We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our collaborative team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate commitment to evidence-based practice and thrive in a supportive environment that values clinical excellence. Key Clinical Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive prenatal care and risk assessment * Attend and manage labor and deliveries * Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients * Perform postpartum care and newborn assessments * Conduct annual well-woman examinations and preventive care * Provide family planning counseling and contraceptive management * Diagnose and treat common gynecological conditions * Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results * Collaborate with physicians and specialists for complex cases * Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Schedule and Clinical Setting *Two (2) clinic days per week, providing outpatient gynecological and prenatal care * One (1) 24-hour call shift per week for labor and delivery coverage• Hospital privileges and deliveries at two convenient locations: St. John's Hospital (Maplewood, MN) Woodwinds Health Campus (Woodbury, MN) * Shared call schedule with physician partners and midwifery colleagues for optimal work-life balance * Comprehensive onboarding and mentorship program. * Opportunities for professional development and specialized training in HRT and Urostym therapy Requirements Essential Functions and Qualifications * Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license * Current Minnesota advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license with prescriptive authority * Graduate degree from an accredited nurse-midwifery program * Current certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) * Active DEA registration * Current CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification * ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) certified * Demonstrated competency in normal labor and delivery management * Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills * Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with patients and team members * Previous clinical experience in full-spectrum midwifery practice * Experience with hormone replacement therapy (HRT) management and menopausal care * Training or experience in pelvic floor rehabilitation, particularly Urostym therapy * Proficiency with electronic medical records systems (Epic experience a plus) * Experience in collaborative practice models with physicians and allied health professionals * Active involvement in professional midwifery organizations (ACNM, MNACNM) * Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education * New graduates with strong clinical training and enthusiasm for comprehensive women’s health are encouraged to apply.
