Participates in the care of women with medical complications in collaboration with the OB/GYN physicians. Shares in the planning and organization of the Nurse-Midwifery Service. First assists in Cesarean deliveries. May assist at other OB/GYN surgeries consistent with training. Job Description: EDUCATION Graduation from an accredited school of nurse-midwifery CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE RN-Registered Nurse of California Upon Hire CNM-Certified Nurse Midwife Upon Hire LMW-Licensed Midwife Upon Hire NMF-Nurse Midwife Furnishing within 90 days BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Upon Hire CSRC-Controlled Substance Registered Certification (DEA) PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Six months related clinical experience preferred SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Bilingual (Spanish) Medical knowledge and skills applicable to perform within the scope of practice Verbal and written communication skills for interaction with physicians, patients and staff Computer skills: EHR capable, Outlook email and Microsoft Word proficient. Pay Range is $88.56 to $117.36 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.
