Here are some ways you’ll serve patients: Critical monitoring, like obtaining blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels – so we can better assess patient health Transport patients to appointments and procedures – to get them the right care at the right time Interact with patients to promote comfort, and express compassion, and empathy as they heal Walking – It’s one of the most important things we can do for our patients- and you get to help them do it safely Assist with activities of daily living – things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing, themselves. This can include eating, bathing, brushing teeth, toileting and more. Schedule: Part-Time 48 hours every two weeks Variable 12-hour shifts; shifts to include 7am-7:30pm and 7pm-7:30am Every 3rd weekend 7am-7:30pm Rotating Holidays Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $19.40 per hour and increases with experience. Pay Range: $19.40 - $28.79 per hour Benefits include medical, dental, vacation accrual, retirement, and employee discounts. Qualifications: Certified as a Nursing Assistant on the Minnesota Registry. Some healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Must have current certification through the American Heart Association. Responsibilities
The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for critical patient monitoring, including obtaining vital signs, and safely assisting patients with mobility and activities of daily living such as eating and bathing. This role also involves transporting patients to appointments and procedures while promoting comfort and expressing compassion.
