GAP is the longest established gastroenterology practice in the Piedmont Triad area. This independent, physician-owned GI practice is looking for CNAs for our Endoscopy Centers. GAP evaluates new patients, performs consultations and conducts follow-up visits for chronic gastrointestinal conditions. Our offices draw and assess labs, administer injections and monitor medication therapies. We offer on-site infusion services and our clinical staff assist with a variety of in-office procedures. When appropriate, GAP schedules appointments for outpatient screening, diagnostic and/or treatment procedures. Our endoscopy centers are physician-owned outpatient ambulatory surgical centers which specialize in colon cancer screening and prevention as well as a number of other procedures including endoscopy and colonoscopy. The CNA position will transport patients in accordance with instructions from medical personnel. They will assist physicians or RNs with endoscopy procedures, and they will collect specimens using standard medical procedures and techniques. The CNA Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of rooms between procedures. CNA's assist with cleaning and disinfection of scopes and accessories according to strict protocol. Multiple roles within the department allows day to day variety in work assignments. We are seeking skilled, highly compassionate CNAs to provide safe and thoughtful care to our patients. Requirements Must have current certification. CNA +4 preferred. Minimum of one (1) year nursing assistant experience. Endoscopy, PACU, OR, or other critical care nursing experience preferred. Previous endoscopy center experience highly desired. Provation or Epic experience a plus. Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Full-time positions available with excellent benefits package!
