Kāhala Nui, considered Hawaiʻi’s premier senior living community, is seeking a dedicated Overnight Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.   POSITION SUMMARY: As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide direct, hands-on care to residents while supporting their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being. CNAs assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility. This role involves monitoring residents’ conditions, reporting any changes to the nursing team, and following individualized care plans to ensure safe and high-quality care. The CNA works collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare staff to maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment while helping residents maintain the highest level of independence possible.   SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY:  * Must have flexibility to weekends and holidays. * SUNDAY - SATURDAY; NIGHT (10:00PM - 6:30AM) QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Equivalent experience or education may be substituted at the hiring manager’s discretion for educational or work experience requirements.   REQUIRED QULIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or equivalency * Valid State of Hawaii Approved Training Certified Nurse’s Aide Certification (CNA) or RN or LPN license required for skilled nursing * Valid CNA certification or have completed nurse’s aide training program for assisted living or memory support * Must be available to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays. * Proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations. * Valid CPR, First Aid and AED certification PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * At least one (1) year of previous healthcare experience.
