We are currently seeking Full-Time and Part-time CNA's to join our team and assist our residents in the newly expanded Assisted Living and Healthcare departments. Previous CNA experience is a plus, as well as experience in an Assisted Living setting. Under the direct supervision of our LPN's, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides nursing care to residents in areas such as daily hygiene, toileting, feeding, moving safely to activities or functions, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the resident’s room, while maintaining our resident’s rights. Current shift opportunities available (shifts include EOW rotation): 3p-11p PT 11p-7a PT Experience: Minimum 1-year CNA experience (Preferred) Previous Experience working in Assisted Living or Health Care (Preferred) License: Active CNA License (Required) Current CPR and First Aid Certification (Required prior to starting) Covenant Woods understands that having a passionate staff is at the center of what makes us great. Must communicate fluently in English. Job Specifications: Must be a current Certified Nursing Assistant licensed in the State of Virginia. Current basic CPR/AED and First Aid certification required. Physical Requirements: Work requires standing, walking, reaching, handling items, and feeling for most of the shift. Stooping, kneeling, crouching and sitting are required. Must be able to lift an average of 25 pounds up to maximum of 50 pounds; carry an average of 10 pounds up to 15 pounds; and push or pull an average of 20 pounds up to a maximum of 25 pounds. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch required. Finger dexterity needed.

Responsibilities
