What You’ll Do As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you’ll play a central role in enhancing residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being. Key Responsibilities: · Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, mobility, toileting, and all ADLs. · Supporting restorative care under therapy guidance. · Monitoring and reporting changes in condition promptly. · Participating in care planning as the resident’s closest advocate. · Responding quickly to call lights and resident needs. · Documenting vitals, care activities, intake/output, and observations. · Helping residents engage in meaningful daily activities and household events. · Encouraging independence, dignity, and personal choice. · Supporting a clean, safe, warm household environment. · Assisting with personal laundry, light housekeeping, and mealtime support. · Building lasting relationships rooted in kindness, respect, and person-centered care. Education · Active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of North Carolina. · High School diploma or GED (or equivalent). Qualifications: · Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or memory care. · Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for relationship-centered caregiving.
