We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for full-time day shift opportunities at Augusta State Medical Prison in Grovetown, GA! The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (Medical) works under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. The CNA is responsible for assisting patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs, and vital sign monitoring. Pay Range is $17-$22/hr. based on years of experience. Shift: 7a-7p; Days Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalent required • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required • One (1) year of experience in long term or skilled care, residential care, physician practice or correctional setting preferred • Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use • Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
