This is hospice work with heart , and your role makes all the difference. This position will serve Stephenson County and western Winnebago County. What You’ll Do As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will: Provide physical and personal care under RN supervision, including bathing, grooming, oral care, and skin/hair care. Perform homemaker services such as meal prep, making beds, light housekeeping, and assisting with feeding. Assist with ambulation, transfers, range-of-motion exercises, and positioning. Reinforce dressings as needed and follow all infection-control and standard precautions. Offer emotional support, compassionate listening, and reassurance to patients and families. Support the primary caregiver through instruction, guidance, and hands-on help as part of the hospice care team.
