What You’ll Do Respond promptly to client calls and requests Follow individualized care plans to support client needs Check vital signs, assist with mobility, and collect specimens as directed Observe and report client conditions to nursing and medical staff Document care accurately in the EMR system Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times Work collaboratively with nurses and treatment staff Step in where needed—because teamwork matters Work Environment Residential detox and addiction recovery setting Locations include Briarwood Detox (North Austin) and Nova Recovery Center (Wimberley) Use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment Schedule & Availability Full-time role Schedule assigned by Nursing staff Includes holidays that fall during your scheduled workweek Facilities operate 24/7, 365 days a year Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting (20+ lbs.) Visual acuity for close and distance vision What We’re Looking For Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license Current CPR certification High School Diploma or GED Healthcare or residential treatment experience preferred Strong communication and attention to detail Compassionate, professional, and reliable Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record Travel Expectations This role may include travel between North Austin and Wimberley, as well as other Nova Recovery locations within Texas.
