We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring the comfort and safety of those you serve.

SKILLS

The ideal candidate should possess a combination of the following skills:

• Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices.
• Familiarity with various patient care settings including acute care, long-term care, hospice care, and pediatrics.
• Proficiency in administering medications and performing basic life support (BLS).
• Understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and catheter care when necessary.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Provide basic care for patients with special needs, including those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Support medical staff by preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist in mobility by using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding patient needs and progress.
