TITLE:  Certified Nursing Assistant DEPARTMENT:  Med/Surg Department POSITION STATUS/HOURS: Part-time days position .2 FTE of every third weekend and every third holiday day shift rotation. Shifts are 5:45 a.m. - 6:15 p.m. Willingness to work OB and/or ER as necessary.                      Not benefit eligible JOB SUMMARY:  CNA works with nurses to assist in provision of delegated aspects of nursing care for individual patients. This practitioner organizes, within the specified work period, his/her time in order to maximize delivery of nursing care. Within the role of clerk functions this practitioner is responsible for performing the following: admission, discharge, pre-procedure, post-procedure and transfer. The CNA is responsible for unit-phone, call-light, visual monitor, and telemetry management. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: •    Current CNA certificate status active or remains eligible per Wisconsin Registry guidelines. •    CPR certification is required (or completed within 60 days of hire).   •    Professional manner •    Strong organizational skills •    Ability to demonstrate flexibility •    Knowledge regarding medical terminology •    Positive attitude •    Previous health care related experience preferred •    Clerical and computer experience preferred HOW TO APPLY: Candidate offered employment will complete drug screen, criminal background check and health requirements as condition of employment.
