Description Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Darien, CT Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies from an accredited program Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in Connecticut Experience providing occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist for children and adolescents Strong skills in implementing treatment plans involving sensory integration, fine/gross motor development, and activities of daily living (ADL) training Excellent communication, documentation, and time management abilities Ability to commute to both Darien and Wilton locations Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Compensation: $70,000 annual salary Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Benefits: 401(k) with matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance PTO: Unlimited after 2 years of employment Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Job Type: Full-Time: 40 hours/week (22-25 client-facing; 12-15 administrative/note-taking) Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday with evening/after school availability Responsibilities: Work with OTR to develop a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities Provide direct occupational therapy services to children, adolescents, and/or adults (target of 25 client hours per week) Dedicate 15 hours per week to administrative duties, including documentation, treatment planning, progress notes, and communication with families, multidisciplinary team members, schools, and outside providers as needed Participate in weekly supervision, staff meetings, grand rounds and case consultations Set up the gym for evaluations/sessions and maintain a clean gym environment after each therapy session/day Perform other clinical and administrative duties as required ABOUT SASCO RIVER CENTER: Sasco River Center is an innovative, family-centered, multidisciplinary practice offering a wide range of diagnostic and therapy services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families.
