Essential Accountabilities for the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Provide therapy according to the treatment plan while monitoring progress and adjusting therapy. Document, monitor, and analyze the patient’s progress and effects of treatment. Communicate, educate, and provide family training on the patient’s individualized treatment plans. Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports (i.e., physician, school district, other therapies). Create and submit all reporting, including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Requirements Associate’s degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program from an accredited college or university. Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the State of Ohio. Valid Driver’s license. FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire) Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body. Positive and goal-oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices. Must be able to handle stressful situations.
