Requirements What You’ll Do: Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, safety awareness, and functional independence. Implement individualized treatment plans. Document patient progress in the electronic medical record. Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in discharge planning and care conferences. Ensure compliance with Medicare, state regulations, and facility policies. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current Iowa COTA license (or license eligible) New graduates encouraged to apply Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
