Newberry Health is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), as needed, to join our exceptional team. Located in beautiful Newberry County, SC, Newberry Health is a 90-bed, acute care, independent, not-for-profit hospital recognized with the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. We are proud of our strong leadership, dedicated staff, and commitment to providing high-quality care for our patients. Our rehab department also offers outpatient adult and outpatient pediatric therapy in our free standing clinics. The position we are hiring for is primarily outpatient pediatric therapy based. Job Summary: With supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, the COTA administers optimal patient care by planning, organizing, and implementing an occupational therapy program including, documentation and treatment for individual patients. All treatment media, approaches and techniques will be appropriate and specific to population served. Responsibilities
