Life Care Center of Kansas City, a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation facility, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team! You’ll play a vital role in helping our patients and residents regain independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals. We offer a supportive and team-oriented environment where you can truly make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• NBCOT certification (renewal is optional after hire).
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program (ASOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in Kansas and in good standing.

• Following and implementing occupational treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Charting patient progress accurately and timely using therapy software.
• Exhibiting excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assisting in patient evacuations and demonstrating safe body mechanics.
