This role offers exceptional work-life balance, strong professional support, and dedicated mentorship for new graduates, making it an ideal fit for both experienced clinicians and those just starting their careers.    We are hiring a COTA for our school in South Sacramento     We care about you!!   * Continuous education: Join our monthly virtual workshops for the opportunity to ear free CEU's. * Up to 6k in sign-on bonuses! * Our therapist only works 10 months out of the year but get paid for 12 months * Training and mentorship support * Manageable caseloads * We offer competitive salaries - up to 105k per year. * We are giving up to 10k in sign-on bonuses * $1500 for CEU's and license reimbursement.     Job Group Description: Jabbergym Overtime Status: Exempt Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000     Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Key Responsibilities: * Treatment Planning: Support direct intervention for fine motor, perceptual motor, and sensorimotor functions. Collaborate with the team for goal development, scheduling, classroom accommodations, and therapeutic activities. * Consultation & Instruction: Consult with the supervising OT and team members to maximize skill generalization and accommodations across educational environments. Assist with identifying, distributing, and training on assistive and adaptive equipment and technologies. * Data Collection & Documentation: Maintain thorough and timely records of student progress, including therapy notes, billing, accommodations, and supervision logs. * Time Off Management for Full-Time School Employees: Employees are encouraged to schedule their time off during school breaks. Time off requests will be reviewed and approved by the supervisor to ensure minimal disruption to normal operations. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Qualifications: * Licensure: Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state where services are delivered or eligibility to obtain such licensure. * Background Check: Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (or equivalent state or national fingerprint clearance). * TB Clearance * Eligibility to Work: Eligibility to work in the US Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Physical Demands * Environment: Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes. * Activity: Frequent engagement in tasks such as reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations. * Sensory: Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.
