Description The Arc Madison Cortland is looking for a motivated individual to join our team! This individual's time would be split evenly between Madison and Cortland counties. SUMMARY: Provide services under the direct supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist in providing occupational therapy for individuals evaluated by the occupational therapist and in conjunction with OT treatment plan Follow the treatment plan established by the OT and approved by individual's physician Work in conjunction with the individual's physician and therapist in course of treatment. Educate/train ancillary staff members on treatment plan Completes all necessary documentation and billing forms on a daily basis as required. Provides therapy in functional, prevocational, vocational, homemaking skills, and activities of daily living.
