QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or degree in Osteopathy from a recognized institution.
  • Registration and good standing with the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO) or other recognized governing body.
  • Professional liability insurance in place.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome with mentorship available).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based setting.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a licensed and passionate Osteopath to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is skilled in manual therapy techniques, committed to patient-centered care, and thrives in a collaborative environment with other health professionals. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating musculoskeletal conditions, with an emphasis on holistic, whole-body wellness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including medical history and physical examination.
  • Diagnose musculoskeletal and joint dysfunctions, considering biomechanical, neurological, and systemic factors.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using osteopathic principles, manual therapy, and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide hands-on treatment such as joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, and muscle energy techniques.
  • Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, lifestyle, and exercise for injury prevention and long-term wellness.
  • Collaborate with other practitioners (physiotherapists, chiropractors, psychotherapists, massage therapists, nutritionists) to ensure integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with professional regulations and clinic policies.
  • Stay current with continuing education, research, and best practices in osteopathy and integrative healthcare.
