Description Certified Pedorthist Part-Time (1-2 days onsite) $25-$30/hour Job Overview Do you have a passion for helping others improve their mobility and alleviate foot pain? We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Pedorthist to join our team. As a Pedorthist, you will play a critical role in the health and wellness of your patients by creating customized orthotics and footwear to meet their specific needs. If you have a strong attention to detail and are committed to providing exceptional patient care, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! Responsibilities & Duties Conducting assessments of patients' feet and lower limbs to determine the cause of their pain or discomfort Designing and creating custom orthotics and foot wear for patients Fitting and adjusting orthotics and footwear for optimal comfort and function Educating patients on proper foot care and orthotic usage Communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the most effective treatment Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting all patient interactions Staying current on industry advancements and continuing education opportunities Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Podiatry, or a related field Experience working in a clinical setting Knowledge of current industry advancements and continuing education opportunities Certification as a Pedorthist Minimum of 2 years of experience in pedorthic care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to providing exceptional patient care Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
The Certified Pedorthist will conduct assessments of patients' feet and lower limbs, design and create custom orthotics and footwear, and educate patients on proper foot care.
