    Certified Peer Recovery Specialist – Full-Time Enhanced Outpatient Program At Alliance Healthcare Services (AHS), it is our mission to promote wellness in the community. We offer outpatient, intensive outpatient, home-based, and community-based programs, including a continuum of crisis services to over 22,000 residents of Shelby County. We’re committed to bringing compassionate and dedicated individuals to help us continue to provide the best services to our community.   Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * High School Diploma or GED – requirement * Certified Peer Recovery Specialist through the State of TN – requirement  * Past personal experience with recovery from a substance use disorder & willingness to share personal recovery journey – requirement  * Experience with substance use disorders and consumers with co-occurring disorders who are in addiction recovery strongly preferred * Willing to obtain training in – 1. First Aid 2. CPR 3. Therapeutic Options 4. Narcan Administration * Demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a treatment setting dealing with individuals in active addiction and to use mature judgment in problem resolution * Demonstrate an ability to function creatively in evolving appropriate treatment strategies for EOP clients and to operate effectively in a multidisciplinary setting Key Job Responsibilities: * Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed and client-centered care to all clients. * Provide insight to program supervisors regarding client needs to help shape program offerings. * Maintain supportive, professional and open communication and to promote engagement with all clients assigned to the program through frequent outreach efforts. * Participate in regular clinical staffings and treatment team meetings and provide clinical input on all clients in the program. * Engage all treatment team members in client care.  * Engage with community resources to promote the mission of the Enhanced Outpatient Program and AHS. * Facilitate Individual and Group Illness Management and Recovery sessions. * Complete all charting and documentation in clients’ charts in a timely manner.  * Comply with policies and procedures as outlined in AHS’ policy and procedure manual.  * Other duties may be assigned by supervisor(s) to meet the needs of the consumer and AHS.    Shift Availability: * Full-Time Day – 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday 1.
