You will function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the Labor and Delivery team. You will assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Delivery Room. Additionally, you will provide clinical care to women in labor, postpartum, and to newborns. This is a full time night shift position working 6:30p-7:30a, including alternating weekends and holidays, with day and night shift on-call requirement. This position is located at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt Manor, New York. Preferred Criteria Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting Required Criteria High School diploma or GED BLS certification Minimum of one year of Nursing Attendant/PCT/Medical Assistant experience in an acute care hospital setting Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assisting New Graduates: Certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
