Generous benefits package including medical, dental, life, std, ltd, 401k/pension, tuition reimbursement, convenient free parking, etc. Certified Pharmacy Technician This individual is responsible assisting in the daily activities of the Physician Dispensing department within Hematology-Oncology Associates of CNY, PC. Duties include: assist in the dispensing (compounds) commercially available drugs; assessing medication orders; assists with the drug and prior authorization process, patient assistance programs and foundation programs. Requirements Organizational skills Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical oncology operations Ability and willingness to work with potential exposure to toxic drugs and infectious patients Ability to operate a computer Ability to maintain records and files Ability to work with precision and accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality Education: HS Diploma or equivalent. Experience Necessary previous community pharmacy experience welcomed Certificate/License: National Pharmacy Technician Certification is recommended.
