Description Position: Pharmacy Technician Mosaic Pharmacy is a rapidly growing, closed-door pharmacy that provides multi-dose robotic packaging for over 10,000 patients across the United States. Mosaic Pharmacy Service provides comprehensive pharmacy care to medically complex and vulnerable seniors. We provide a patient-focused, pharmacist-driven care model in collaboration with health systems, assisted living facilities and health plans. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will help coordinate across our patients’ care continuum including between the patient, providers, and pharmacy. This includes speaking directly with patients about their health and changes, helping to organize patient prescriptions, filling medication orders in adherence packaging, and working with pharmacists to optimize medication regimens. Key Responsibilities Include: Representing Mosaic to its members over the phone, providing excellent customer service and attention to detail. Answering routine inquiries from patients regarding health plan drug coverage, prices, and related issues. Identifying situations when a patient should speak with pharmacist and appropriately triaging to the pharmacist. Assisting the pharmacist in filling prescriptions, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy. Processing third party claims according to terms of patient’s drug plan. Contacting insurance companies and/or PBMs to resolve claims issues. Operating automated packaging machinery to pre-sort, package, and restock medications. Ordering and stocking drugs and supplies, assembling drugs and supplies for clinical departments, stocking crash carts, and performing other inventory duties. Packing and shipping orders nationwide Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Perform other tasks as assigned. Ability to pass drug screen and criminal background check. Experience with retail, mail order or LTC pharmacy data entry and pharmacy dispensing software preferred Experience with Parata or other pharmacy automation systems a plus
