Learn more about: New Frontier Immigration Law Our Core Values Our Founder & CEO Hillary Walsh Role Objective We're seeking a Project Manager to oversee the production and coordination of legal filings for approximately 500 active immigration cases, ensuring seamless case progression from intake through filing completion. This is a pure project management role; you will not be performing legal work yourself. Instead, you will create workflow systems, coordinate team members, track deadlines, and ensure every case moves efficiently through each stage of the process. You will serve as the central coordinator who ensures that for every case, we know who will do what by when, preventing delays, maintaining client communication schedules, and ensuring no case or client is forgotten. Requirements Bilingual in English (Reading and Writing) Project Management Certification required (one or more of the following): PMP (Project Management Professional) Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM) PRINCE2 Agile/Scrum certifications Lean Six Sigma 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in legal, professional services, or high-volume operations Experience working with legal processes, documentation, or case management (does not need to be an attorney or paralegal) Proven ability to manage concurrent projects or tasks simultaneously Strong proficiency with project management tools and methodologies Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work India time zone hours (Arizona night shift) Key Responsibilities Case Flow Management & Coordination Design and maintain project workflows for approximately 500 immigration cases Create clear task assignments with defined owners and deadlines for each case stage Coordinate handoffs between intake, legal preparation, document collection, filing, and post-filing stages Ensure every case has a clear next step and responsible party at all times Identify bottlenecks and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts or resource constraints Timeline & Deadline Management Track all case milestones, filing deadlines, and critical dates Send proactive reminders to team members before deadlines Escalate at-risk cases or missed deadlines to leadership immediately Build and maintain master project timelines across all active cases Monitor case velocity and identify cases that are moving too slowly Client Communication Coordination Ensure regular client check-ins occur according to established schedules Track when clients were last contacted and flag overdue touchpoints Coordinate between legal team and client services to ensure no client feels forgotten Monitor client response times and escalate unresponsive clients appropriately Process Optimization & Documentation Document standard operating procedures for case progression Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements Create templates, checklists, and workflow guides Build reporting dashboards for leadership visibility into case status and team performance Team Coordination & Communication Facilitate clear communication between legal team members, paralegals, and support staff Conduct brief daily or weekly stand-ups to review priorities and blockers Serve as the central point of contact for case status questions Bridge communication between U.S.-based and India-based team members across time zones Competencies Systems Thinker: Designs scalable workflows that move hundreds of cases efficiently Detail-Oriented Coordinator: Tracks multiple moving pieces without dropping critical tasks Proactive Communicator: Anticipates problems and addresses them before they impact clients Process-Driven: Follows established methodologies while identifying improvement opportunities Culturally Adaptive: Works effectively across time zones and with distributed international teams Compensation $1,200-$1,600 USD/monthly Preferred Qualifications Highly Preferred: Experience with Monday.com (project management platform) Experience with FileVine (legal case management software) Experience with HubSpot (CRM platform) Also Preferred: Background in immigration law, family law, or other high-volume legal practice areas Experience managing offshore or distributed teams Prior experience working with U.S.-based companies or clients Work Schedule & Location Location: Remote (India-based) Work Hours: India daytime hours (Arizona nighttime) to ensure coverage and coordination with U.S. operations Location Delhi NCR, New Delhi (Remote) Department Operations Employment Type Contractor Minimum Experience Experienced Compensation $1,200-$1,600 USD/monthly
