Job Title: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Employer: TDL Staffing
Location: Fairbanks, AK (On-site)
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Pay: Depending on experience

TDL Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to support the operations of a local manufacturing business in Fairbanks.
This is a full-time, on-site role requiring strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • An active CPA license is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Ability to learn SAGE 100 Contractor (SQL) and proprietary databases
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Strong decision-making and communication abilities
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Must pass a background check; drug-free workplace
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential

Responsibilities

General Accounting & Oversight

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and cost analysis reports by job and service type
  • Participate in year-end financial activities and compile documentation for audits and tax preparation
  • Collaborate with leadership and project managers to support accurate job costing and reporting

Payroll & HR Support

  • Daily payroll entry and weekly processing
  • Submit payroll tax deposits, child support payments, and union reports
  • Manage new hire and termination paperwork, and assist with other HR duties as needed
  • Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax reports

Accounts Receivable

  • Communicate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
  • Manage receivables and follow up on outstanding balances

Accounts Payable

  • Process and file vendor invoices
  • Ensure timely payments and maintain accurate records

Inventory & Production Tracking

  • Track daily labor and production data
  • Perform raw material inventory reconciliation and participate in physical inventory counts.
  • Work within proprietary pipe database to assist with load-outs and reporting

Administrative & Office Duties

  • Answer phones, handle mail, assist with insurance and safety documentation
  • Provide support for client turnover, compliance records, and other administrative tasks
