Job Details Job Location: Eagleville Hospital - Eagleville, PA 19403 Education Level: High School Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: 1st shift Job Category: Health Care Job Description Eagleville Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) to join our Specialized Patient Support Department. In this vital role, you will provide direct peer-based recovery support to individuals dealing with addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. As a CRS, you will draw on your own recovery journey to engage with and inspire hope in our patients. This is an evening shift position with hours ranging from 2pm-11:30pm and one weekend shift in schedule to be discussed during the interview. One holiday is required. Key Responsibilities: Provide peer support and mentorship through one-on-one interactions and group settings. Model effective coping strategies and recovery behaviors. Assist patients in building life skills, recognizing relapse triggers, and setting recovery goals. Facilitate patient orientation, 12-step meetings, and weekend activities. Respond to behavioral health crises and assist with de-escalation. Actively participate in treatment planning and team meetings. Must hold a current Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) credential. Personal lived experience in substance use recovery is required. Experience with co-occurring disorders and the 12-step model is preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and group facilitation skills.
