Maintains accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. Applies strong analytical reasoning to effectively blend patient care management with technical expertise. Communicates clearly and professionally with all members of the healthcare team. Performs quality control and maintenance of arterial blood gas analyzers, including specimen collection and analysis for gas transport and acid/base determinations. Maintains regular and punctual attendance in alignment with Orlando Health policies and applicable federal, state, and local standards (ADA, FMLA, etc.). Adheres to all Orlando Health policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality care delivery. Qualifications Education & Training Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program (Note: If licensed prior to December 31, 2008, a certificate of completion from an approved program is acceptable) Licensure & Certification Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Licensed by the State of Florida (Department of Health); must be renewed bi-annually Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification Advanced Life Support certification as required by unit and site Preferred: Active membership in the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) and Florida Association for Respiratory Care (FSRC) Experience No prior experience required
