Description Athens Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a Certified Scrub Tech (CST) providing professional and quality patient care in a cohesive team environment. Job Duties: The Certified Surgical Tech (CST) assigned to Nursing will be responsible for successful completion of the following job duties: 1. Assisting physician during clinic appointments. 2. Preparation of surgical procedures. 3. Completion of the sterilization process of equipment 4. Turnover of operating rooms 5. Stocking of supplies. Education/Experience: The successful candidate will possess the following education and experience: 1. Graduate of accredited Surgical Tech program. 2. Current certification as Surgical Tech. 3. Current BLS certification required. 4. One (1) year experience preferred. 5. Must be an energetic, flexible, multi-tasking team member.
Responsibilities
The Certified Surgical Tech (CST) will assist physicians during clinic appointments and prepare for surgical procedures. Responsibilities also include sterilizing equipment and managing the turnover of operating rooms.
