SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the Obstetrician/Surgeon in the operating room during cesarean sections, tubal ligations, D&C, and other related Obstetrical surgical procedures.  In addition, the scrub tech provides clerical support in Women’s Services, assists with vaginal birth processes, and is responsible for maintaining supplies and equipment. QUALIFICATIONS: * Must have certification: CST (preferred) or TS-C * Previous clinical experience in an Operating Room environment * Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification * Good communication and time management skills
Responsibilities
The primary role involves assisting the Obstetrician/Surgeon during cesarean sections, tubal ligations, D&C procedures, and other related obstetrical surgeries in the operating room. Additionally, the scrub tech supports clerical tasks in Women's Services and assists with vaginal birth processes while managing supplies and equipment.
